		In 2006 BlackGirlTravel.com founder Fleace Weaver had a dream of empowering and connecting Black women through international travel. Ms Weaver was told by many so-called travel professionals that the type tours she envisioned would be impossible to execute smoothly, not to mention perceived improbability of a large group of women traveling together without drama. She proved them worng on BOTH! With vision and perseverance the impossible was made possible. In the past 6 years, over 250 women have traveled with us to Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Belgium and Switzerland. We will start our 2013 travel year honoring two other impossible dreamers, men whos dreams changed nations and inspired the world, Martin Luther King Jr and Nelson Mandela. On Sunday Jaunuary 20 2013, we will depart the United States for our 2nd Annual South Africa tour set to arrive on the MLK day holiday. You will also visit Johannesburg and Soweto former home of Nelson Mandela. You will go on safari/game drive and spend two nights under the stars in luxuary safari lodge. Visit an African village and travel to the beautiful city of Cape Town with it amazing beaches and night life. Take a day trip Robben Island where Mandela was imprisoned for 13 years.
