Wednesday, May 11th 2015 - Book your own flight to Nice (return from Milan). Plan to arrive in Nice by 11:00am on May 12th to take the group transfer bus from the airport. Flight booking assistance will be offered in January. We will also offer a group flight.

For those that book the group flight, the magic will start with meeting your co-FlyGirls at JFK airport for pre-flight drinks and laughter. Remember to sleep on the overnight flight because we will hit the ground running, cause that's the way we DO IT! Plus, it is the best way to prevent jet-lag. ;-)

The French Riviera

The sun-drenched beaches of Nice, the opulence of Monte Carlo, and the Cannes Film Festival are just a few reasons why the Côte d'Azur aka French Riviera is a popular destination for celebs, royals, jetsetters, and our BGT international FlyGirls. Just flying into the Riviera with its stunning aerial views will leave your heart beating for more. Have your cameras ready for the approach before landing.

Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Beaulieu-sur-Mer (Beaulieu literally means "Beautiful Place") boasts a location of privilege with a unique combination of clear blue sea and breathtaking mountains. With its shady palm tree lined roads, lush Mediterranean vegetation, crescent-shaped beaches, yacht filled marina and luxurious villas, Beaulieu is truly the perfect place to start your Riviera experience.

Thursday, May 12th 2015 - Upon arriving at the airport, you will board the group's private coach to the hotel in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. After check-in, you will have time for a QUICK shower and change of attire before heading to the village of Grasse. It is the sweetest smelling city in Europe and is widely known as the perfume capital of the world. Here you will have your first taste of French culture and cuisine at a special orientation brunch followed by a visit to the Fragonard Perfume Factory and museum to learn the history of perfume making, with an overview of historical and current techniques. You will have time to shop in the factory store and wander the tiny shop filled streets of Grasse before heading back to Beaulieu-sur-Mer to prepare for the evening. Dress for the evening and meet the group on the terrace for a "get to know you" mixer before heading out for dinner and dancing for those that can hang. All this and it is only DAY 1!

Monte Carlo / Monaco

Friday, May 13th 2015 - Sleep in ... A BIT! Early afternoon, we are off to Monte Carlo and Monaco Rock. Just the name Monte Carlo conjures visions of a glamorous bygone era. And in modern Monte Carlo, the tax-free principate surrounded by France and the Maritime Alps has 300 days a year of sunshine. This stunning cliffside Mediterranean port is a timeless playground for the see-and-be-seen crowd. It has the most millionaires per capita in the world! Boasting nearly 300 days of sunshine, the yachts are as big as mansions and champagne is the national drink. These are some of the reasons that every other James Bonds movie has a scene in Monte Carlo. Your day will start with a guided walking tour with stops that will inculded the 19th-century Romanesque-Byzantine Cathedrale de Monaco, the final resting place of Princess Grace, the Le Rocher (the Rock), and attractive 16C-18C houses all painted in the same bright salmon pink huddled together in a maze of pretty narrow streets. It is also the home of Palais du Prince (Prince's Palace), the official residence of the Prince of Monaco. No trip to Monte Carlo is complete without a trip to Place du Monte-Carlo (Monte-Carl Square). The famous square is always humming with the engine sound of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, Rolls Royces, Aston Martins, and about every other exclusive car you can think of. You will have a tour of the Monte Carlo Casino/Opera House which is one of the world's first major casinos in the world. Enter through "the front door" and fall beneath the spell of the charming atmosphere of yesteryear combined with the contemporary approach to gambling. Channel your inner "Bond Girl" as you strut around the game rooms. Afterward, it is time for dinner among the BIG BOYS of Monte Carlo and Riviera night life as only BGT can do.

Cannes

Saturday, May 14th 2015 - Yesterday, it was Monte Carlo/Monaco. Today it is all about Cannes during the world famous Festival de Cannes. With its marinas full of white MEGAyachts and waterfront streets a buzz with Ferraris and Mercedes, the glittery French Riviera resort at first gives off the rarefied vibe of a town where huffing around on foot must surely be the best way to be seen. Visiting Cannes any time of the year is a treat, but OMG, during festival time, the city is on steroids with glam and celebrity overload around every corner. It is a place to see and to be seen. Make sure to bring your fashion "A" game, as Cannes, especially during the world famous film festival, is one seriously stylish place where sidestreets become virtural runways for street fashion. You never know WHAT can happen. Last year one of our ladies was chosen to walk the red carpet and be a part of the opening night screening. Talk about being at the right place at the right time! On arrival to Cannes, we will make our way to the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, ground zero for the festival before a walk along the Promenade de la Croisette for a city and festival orientation. Enjoy some free time exploring the city while on entertainment industry overload while star watching. We will give you insider information on how to work the festival and rub elbows with the IT crowd before meeting back out with the group for a special evening picnic under the stars with the stars.

Nice

Nice, the largest city on the French Riviera, features diverse culture. Nice itself is an attraction with its famous belle époque architecture and intense, steel-blue Mediterranean Sea. It has three faces: the stretch along the Promenade des Anglais; Old Nice, with its medieval lanes and alleys; the Nice where locals live, work, and play; along with downtown Nice that has undergone a major facelift and looks younger (modern) than ever.

Sunday, May 15th 2015 - After 3 days of non-stop action, today we slow it down a bit ... well slow for BGT anyway. After a late breakfast, toss on your swimsuit and a sundress as we head to Nice for a day in the sun.

The day will start with a walking tour. Walk the famous promenade des Anglais, head to Castle Hill with fantastic views, the waterfalls and gardens, and Massena Square. You will have some free time in old town Nice to visit the shops (a good time to buy beach towels and suntan lotion) before heading to the beach. Nice boasts some of the best beaches in the world for sunbathing and to relished in the glory of French culture that doesn't bat an eye if you take off your bikini top. Yep, you can free the girls! Now you KNOW we are always on the lookout for the new and unusual, and this tour is no different. GET READY for a Slydsit ride. The Slydsit sits up to 6 in a circle. Swinging and gliding from left to right, try not to fall into the water as you glide across the sea! Thrills and laughter guaranteed, we will have paddle boats and other toys. Vendors also offer optional parasailing. Later, you will have time for dinner in Nice and drinks before heading back to Beaulieu-sur-Mer to pack for your early morning departure.

The Italian Riviera

Bordighera and Pisa

Monday, May 16th 2015- Pack your bags and say Goodbye France and HELLO to the ITALIAN Riviera! Slightly larger than the state of Arizona, the colorful Italian landscape is a feast for your eyes. Few other countries present the variety of life that Italy does. One can be overwhelmed by the number of sights, sounds, and smells that permeate the corners of every cityscape and seaside on this ancient peninsula. In route to Pisa, you will stop in the medieval town of Bordighera. Visiting Bordighera with its ancient heart will feel like stepping back in time. The village is loaded with memories and history nestled in the "Pigna," the medieval quarter which clings to the hillside. Here you will get a real taste of Italy with free time to enjoy lunch on your own or with other FlyGirls while exploring the ancient houses, tiny streets, covered passageways, and arches wrapped around little squares with quaint shops and restaurants. In many of the kitchens you will find "mama" cooking the dishes served with Italian family traditions. Hint, do not always expect what you order. Mama and Nona (grandmother) are known to switch it up "without notice" when ingredients for the dish you ordered are finished for the day. WELCOME TO ITALY! After filling your belly and sipping vino, pass out on the bus (don't forget your flight pillow) as we continue on to Pisa.

In Tuscany, Pisa is most famous for its Leaning Tower with its dramatic tilt to one side. Many visitors arrive to Pisa daily for the Square of Miracles, where the tower, the cathedral, and baptistery form the city's main attraction. The tower of Pisa has been leaning so long -- nearly 840 years -- that it's natural to assume it will defy gravity forever. The tower was not originally intended to lean, but because it was built on soft soils, the tower gradually tilted to one side. Prior to its restoration in 1990 to 2001, the tower had a tilt of 5.5 degrees. The estimated weight of the tower is 14,500 metric tons. Millions of tourists flock to the lawns around the tower to take the classic photo pretending to hold up (or knock down) the tower. Check in at the hotel and then you are off to a walking tour to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and other sites. The tour will end in the center with your evening free to explore Pisa on your own or in small groups.

Cinque Terre

Tuesday, May 17th 2015 - Today, put on your swimsuit and sundress and we are off for a full day in Cinque Terre. The Cinque Terre represents one of the best preserved natural areas of the Mediterranean and is recognized by the Unesco "Mankind's World Heritage." The name Cinque Terre (five lands) comes from the number of the small villages. With your local guide by your side, you will fall in love with magical stories about the landscape and its panoramas suspended between sky and sea. Enjoy the terraced vineyards, alternated with strips of olive trees and the wild Mediterranean bush, mixing with high cliffs reaching down into the cobalt blue depths of the sea and hiding beautiful small beaches. You will have time for sunbathing, shopping, and lunch (shellfish and lemon soaked anchovies are a must) before taking the ferry from Vernazza to Riomaggiore, where the entire village assumes the colors of the rainbow. Even flower gardens pale in comparison. You will walk part of Via dell'Amore, the "Pathway of Love," where you'll see a cluster of padlocks under the tunnel on the Manarola side. Attaching a padlock with you and your lover's name and tossing away the key is a symbol of your unbreakable bond. In case you're so inclined, bring a lock from home. Return to the hotel in time for dinner on your own and in small groups.

 Portofino

Wednesday, May 18th 2015 - Tucked into a narrow cove overlooking the rocky coastline is one of the Riviera's most picturesque, enchanting, and romantic places, Portofino. There are many reasons why this tiny, cliff-lined port, called the "Pearl of the Mediterranean" continues to attract artists, poets, celebrities, and wealthy sophisticates from around the world. Set against a backdrop of a very agreeable climate and lush, luxuriant vegetation, the beauty of Portofino's natural environment is surpassed only by the charm and intimacy of its narrow streets, hidden coves, quaint cafes, and incredible charm. It is a town where everything is extraordinary! Whether it's the landing of a yacht, an evening spent in a nightspot, a walk to the castle, or experiencing one of the most popular celebrations, there are so many reasons why this inlet has become an international name and symbol of beauty and exclusiveness throughout the world. Today, the town's harbor is filled with yachts, visitors, and those who cannot resist the beauty, antiquity, and gracious hospitality that have been maintained through the centuries. It is a town of both reveling celebrations and peaceful moments by the sea. You will visit the Divo Martino's Church and Castello Brown. The Genoese-built castle saw action against the Venetians, Savoyards, Sardinians and Austrians and later fell to Napoleon. In 1867 it was transformed by the British diplomat Montague Yeats Brown into a private mansion. While there are great views from the garden, the fabulous tiled staircase is one of the showpieces of the neo-Gothic interior. Rub elbows with the rich and famous as you wander the beautiful, tiny streets filled with elegant boutiques. Before heading back to Rapello, rest on the old "piazzetta" surrounded by little coloured houses and the sea.

Later, head back to the hotel to change into your "Sea Foam" blue or green dresses for a night on the town and very special evening for you and our Birthday FlyGirls. Don't forget to pack your bags before leaving. We will be returning late or should we say early morning. ;-)

Milan

Thursday, May 19th 2015 - We are on the move again! After check-out, you are off to MILAN (Milano) the financial and fashion capital of Italy. Ahhhh, money and fashion is an intoxicating combination! Speaking of intoxicating, lets not forget about Italian vino. Mmmm! Whether you're looking for Gucci, Prada, or Versace, Milan is a shoppers paradise. There is no doubt about it, — people of all ages in the urban centre of Milan dress well (and so shall we). Their style is trendy, bold, and alluring. You would not describe Milan street style as edgy or arty, but it's totally fashion forward in a more classic, but spunky way. Their fashion is quite glitzy as well. There is a unique sense of confidence in the way that Milanese people dress. OMG, if you like seeing a well dressed man that also smells divine, get ready for an optical feast. We will visit the Duomo di Milano, the magnificent Gothic cathedral which took from 1386 to 1965 to build. Afterwards, you will visit Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (pictured above). Built in 1867, it is a huge glass-roofed shopping arcade lined with elegant shops, bars, and restaurants. Inside are mosaics with the symbols of the cities forming the newly united Italy. Some people consider it good luck to spin your foot on the testicles of the bull of Turin in the center court. Then, we continue on to the Golden Quad. This busy district comprises the elegant shopping streets of Via Bagutta, Via Monte Napoleone, Via Sant'Andrea and Via della Spiga, where designer labels include the likes of Emporio Armani and Gucci. If designer shopping is out of your budget, no worries, there is something for everyone in Milano. You will have free time to people watch or shop till you drop before heading to dinner (not included) at a special location.
