Athens

June 3rd - Your first stop is Athens, the Greek capital is a paradox of qualities: ancient and modern, relaxed and full of life. Athens also boasts an amazing climate and lively inhabitants. Athens has an ancient, lived-in look as befits a city that has been inhabited for over 7000 years. There are ruins everywhere, often in unexpected places.

After a quick check-in enjoy an orientation brunch before you set out to explore the city with stops at Acropolis. The Acropolis hill (acro - edge, polis - city), so called the "Sacred Rock" of Athens, is the most important site of the city and constitutes one of the most recognizable monuments in the world. It is the most significant reference point of ancient Greek culture, as well as the symbol of the city of Athens itself as it represents the apogee of artistic development in the 5th century BC. The main attraction of the Acropolis is the Parthenon Temple (Temple of Athena parthenos) right in the middle of this hill. The Parthenon is the temple of Athena Greek god who was considered the patron deity of the people of Athens.

Later in the evening dinner and mixer where you will learn the "Zorba" dance.

Look out for famous visitors both from Greece and other countries that frequent this street promenading and posing for the photographers. For those a bit more bold head to southern coast and Paradise Beach — Mykonos' original nudist beach — will kill two birds with one stone.
